The much-awaited Bollywood action sequel Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has finally hit theatres and is already creating a huge buzz. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh along with Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna in key roles.
Even before its official release, the film made headlines by earning massive numbers through advance bookings and paid previews. It collected over ₹40–50 crore in preview shows alone and crossed ₹200 crore globally in advance sales, showing extremely high audience demand.
The film’s story continues the journey of an undercover Indian spy, played by Ranveer Singh, who operates under a dual identity in Pakistan to stop a terror network. The narrative is intense, filled with action, emotions, and political drama, making it a large-scale cinematic experience.
Early reviews and reactions have been quite divided. Some viewers and celebrities have called the film “superb” and even a “masterpiece,” praising its direction, visuals, and Ranveer Singh’s performance.
At the same time, others feel the movie is too long (almost 4 hours) and slightly exhausting due to its heavy and intense storytelling.
Despite mixed reviews, the box office response is overwhelmingly strong. The film has sold lakhs of tickets within hours and is expected to cross ₹100 crore in its opening weekend.
However, the release wasn’t completely smooth. Some shows, especially in non-Hindi languages, were delayed or cancelled due to technical and content delivery issues, leading to refunds in several cities.
Overall, Dhurandhar 2 is shaping up to be one of the biggest films of 2026. Whether audiences love it or find it overwhelming, it has definitely captured attention and is dominating both theatres and conversations.
